Skills and understanding of working with hardware. When working in a company, a system administrator regularly has to disassemble and assemble computers, carry out diagnostics, carry out preventive work, and minor repairs of PCs.

To master each of the items on this list, specialists need to study a lot of technical documentation, instructions, master numerous chips and features of work. Moreover, these are only basic requirements. For the successful realization of oneself in the profession of a system administrator, a specialist has to constantly engage in self-development during practical work.
