In view of the threats to corporate security, CompTIA has developed a “career path” for cybersecurity professionals that can be used around the world. It systematically builds on the association's fundamental certifications, which are topped off by the evidence specially developed for this area.
CompTIA's vendor-neutral cybersecurity certification path now includes CSA + certification, which enables professionals to bridge the gap between CompTIA Security + and the CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP) exam. The new CSA + certification increases the number of certifications on the CompTIA Cybersecurity career path to six: IT Fundamentals, A +, Network +, Security +, CSA + and CASP comptia security+ description.
CompTIA certifications are practice-related because IT security experts help design them and they are therefore based on current dangerous situations and needs of the market. With the recognition, the companies confirm that the certifications meet their requirements and are suitable for employees, university graduates as well as retraining.
